Annual Jungle Walk & BBQ

Date: 16th March, 2008
Venue: Berakas Forest Reserve
Time: 7.30 - 10.30 am

Number of participants were 143 students from five different schools. There were SM. Sayyidina Hassan, SM. Sayyidina Husain, SM. Sufri Bolkiah, Tutong, SM. Rimba and Maktab Sains. Each schools was accompanied by their respective teachers.
Before the walk begun, a warm up session was conducted by Cg.Tety Halliza of Sport School. Then in groups of twenty, the students were brought into the three trails namely Denai Sinduk-Sinduk, Denai Rurunang and Denai Nibong. The PBioBD exco members and teachers pointed out interesting flora and fauna found there.
At about 9.45am, students and teachers came back from their walk and had their food. After eating, students sat together for a quiz session. Twenty prizes were won.
The activity ended promptly at 10.30am.
